Progress on all fronts

As many of you know, I have been working hard on two projects while I seek my next CEO role and the good news is that there is progress on every front.
The business consultancy has been helping clients with marketing, comms, web development, growth strategies and introductions (some of which have finally paid off after a long lead time and I am hopeful contracts will be signed soon).
The other project is Contract to Community (C2C) and I have just had a very promising second meeting with the Office for the Impact Economy (OIE) who are very excited about C2C and how it can deliver placed-based impact. I always thought that C2C would launch in Plymouth as, with a combination of significant investment coming to the city and social deprivation we can tackle, it is perfectly suited to the concept. However, Plymouth is dragging its heals and the OIE has areas that are more advanced in their desire to innovate in the social impact space, so they are looking to find one with which to align C2C. I never count my chickens, but...
The last bit of news is that after ten months of looking for the perfect last big role for me I have found and had an interview for a permanent position. I am hopeful of being taken to final interview, so fingers crossed! The picture is me about to go into the interview in my new suit, which I had to buy as after losing nearly four stone my others were a tad baggy!
Please wish me luck on all three fronts and thanks for your continued support.
