The power of collaboration is a key belief of mine and I list it as one of my core values. This is particularly relevant on the World stage at present and while there is little I can do globally, I try to do my bit here at home. So, it was great to hear excellent speakers talking about working together at the launch of Steven Adjei's book 'Chasing Permanence' which addresses sustainability on our high streets. The photo is of me at the event. Great event, terrible picture - but I am wearing a new jumper (see my previous post for context)!
Speaking of working together, I am really pleased to announce that Crowdfunder has agreed in principle to partner with Contract to Community to be the delivery body for the fund and is keen to help bring in ‘one percent for Plymouth’. With over a decade of experience, Crowdfunder has raised over £400 million to address societal challenges through community-driven change and engagement. This has the potential to bring real Social Impact to the City at a time when it is needed most. I have reached out to the major procurers in Plymouth to take this forward and will keep you posted.
Finally, I am working on a brand relaunch for a global name (Top Secret for now - more to follow!) and it has developed into the possibility of another Podcast. I can't say any more at present, but I am excited at the potential to be working once again with the fabulous team at Fresh Air Studios. Watch this space.
Thanks for your continued support.
